Q: How do I find out what's going on in the Club? A: The Members Monthly Newsletter is your first source for upcoming events and announcements. If you are a member, it will be emailed to you prior to the start of the month, or the secretary will mail it to you. It is important to try to attend the Members' Meeting each month to stay involved in what is going on in the club. At our meetings we vote on important issues and your opinion counts! Q: Can my children really come to everything with me? What about kids I baby-sit for? A: Yes, please bring your children to everything! Being a stay-at-home mom shouldn't keep you at home. (Most moms do choose to leave the kids with dad or a sitter for MOMS Night Out, but nursing infants are always welcome!) You may bring any children besides your own that you are responsible for as long as we have a signed liability release form on hand for each child. If needed, these can be obtained at the sign in table at the monthly meetings. Q: Are there evening and weekend events for mothers and their kids? A: MOMS club events are usually held Monday-Friday during the morning or afternoon hours. Q: I work part time. Can I still join the MOMS Club? A: Yes, you can attend as many events as your schedule permits. Q: How do I join? A: Click on the 'Contact Us' link near the upper left corner of this webpage. If you are located within one of the zip codes listed, please e-mail the MOMS Club chapter vice president for more information. If you are outside the zip codes listed, the main MOMS club website can link you to the MOMS Club contact information for your area. Q: What is the MOMS Club yearly membership dues? A: The MOMS Club memership dues are $30 / year. Q: What do my dues pay for? A: We pay the International MOMS Club Corporation $2 per member per year to maintain our charter. In addition, your dues pay for room rentals, administrative costs, and supplies. We understand the financial demands of one income homes, so if the dues would be a financial hardship for you, please discuss a waiver with one of our board members. Q: How can I get more involved? A: We rely on our members for everything, so your participation will be much appreciated. Call a coordinator or board member and ask to join their committee. Form a new activity group. Come to the Members' Meetings and share your ideas and opinions. This is YOUR club, and you will get out of it what you put into it.
